Blake and Mortimer

A new chamber in the Pyramid of Kheops is about to be discovered. Blake and Mortimer find that an uncommon thief, the Colonel Olrik, wants to steal the treasure that it may contain. Dark magic, crocodiles, and an ancient guardian are the obstacles in the race to the sacred treasure.

A mysterious creature threatens the peace of London. It sees in the dark, it's not harmed by bullets, and everywhere it goes, a yellow greek appears. Scientists are abducted, the jewels of the crown are stolen... The revenge of Dr Septimus can only be stopped by Blake and Mortimer, who will discover that the mysterious creature is none other than the hypnotised Olrik !

Leading a gigantic army, Colonel Olrik is on the fringe of taking over the whole world ! The only hope of humanity is "Swordfish", a revolutionnary jet aircraft designed by Pr Mortimer. But Mortimer has been captured by the Colonel. Now Blake must race against time to free Mortimer and find the lost plans of the Swordfish before Olrik achieves his goal.

Mortimer discovers an unknown matter, highly radio-active. Olrik wants to steal it, but another stealer is there before him. And he escapes in a flying saucer ! Going down into the depth of the earth to solve this mystery, Blake and Mortimer discover the buried civilisation of Atlantis, which is at war against wretched offspring of the Mayas.

The weather is worst than ever, it keeps raining on the capitals of the world, so Mortimer tries to find out if someone could be responsible. Blake is going with him in the heart of France and the truth is revealed : it is another terrorist scheme of Olrik, who tries to escape by increasing the amount of Oxygen in the air.

Mortimer inherits the castle of the Professor Miloch, who created the weather controller in SOS Meteorites. Curious as ever, he tries the machine he find there and instantly arrives... In the prehistoric era ! He's trapped in a wild time machine, and battles dinosaurs, save a middle-age damsel in distress, and is then carried in a dark future controlled by a mad computer.

The necklace of Marie-Antoinette who was believed to be destroyed is now in the hands of a rich collector. It will be offered to the treasure of England, and Blake and Mortimer are in Paris to supervise the presentation of the necklace. But Olrik plans to steal it and make a deal with the collector who will collect the insurance fee. The necklace he steals is a fake !

Mortimer goes to Japan where a dragon has just been seen attacking army jets. He discovers that it is a robotic creature built by his friend the Professor Sato. The experiment has gone wrong, but it won't stop the professor. He gives Mortimer the keys to three formulas that sums up the results of his researches.

Blake stand accused of being a spy ! His escape seems to prove it. Only Mortimer is still convinced of his friend's innocence. His search for Blake will lead him to Olrik, now head of a spy organisation. Blake is trying to infiltrate this gang which is kidnapping the most reknown scientist of the country. But now Mortimer is thought to be spy too !

Olrik plans to steal a new geothermal energy process developed by a beautiful woman Icelandic physicist. But Blake and Mortimer are on guard and a struggle begins in this striking country. The famed ancestor of the scientist awakes from a centuries long sleep and comes to her rescue, as predicted in ancient legend, and saves the island from destruction.

Olrik has obtained a telepathic helmet. Blake, on his trail, reaches Easter Island. With Mortimer's help, he solves the riddle of the Moais - or giant statues - that dominate the island's landscape. They are in fact smaller copies of one large Moai left there centuries before by an extra terrestrial civilisation. The telepathic helmet is of the same origin...

In Prague, Mortimer meets up with Dr Katerina Jiroslav, the daughter of an old colleague who has just died. Katerina has inherited one of the three parts of the Great Book of the alchemist Nicholas Flamel, who according to legend, had discovered the secret of the philosophers' stone. But a mysterious client has hired Olrik to find the three parts of the Book.

Mortimer is invited by his cousin Margaret to witness a solar eclipse at Stonehenge. But this is exactly where a prisoner being escorted by Blake chooses to escape. An expert in Druidism, he manages to conjure up a breach in reality and passes into a parallel dimension.
