Here is what to do if you're having issues watching live coverage of the Ligue 1 on Prime Video.

Please note that this page is only applicable for customers in Metropolitan France and French overseas territories who have subscribed to access Ligue 1 coverage.

1) How do I watch Ligue 2 BKT matches?

The eight simultaneous Ligue 2 BKT matches usually played on Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. are available individually and in full exclusively on the Le Pass Ligue 1 channel, accessible to all Prime members in France for an additional subscription. In addition, for the 2022-2023 season, the Ligue 2 BKT multiplex will also be available exclusively on Prime Video, at no additional cost. This will be in addition to the Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT matches that Prime members already enjoy as part of their Ligue 1 Pass subscription. The Ligue 2 BKT multiplex, broadcast every Saturday at 6:30 p.m. by Félix Rouah and will include a 30-minute pre-match (matches kick off at 7 p.m.).

2) Which Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches will be available live on Prime Video?

As of 2021/22, for the next 3 seasons, Amazon has acquired rights to broadcast 8 out of 10 matches per match round exclusively. On regular weekend rounds, this usually includes matches at Friday 21:00, Saturday 17:00 and Sunday 13:00, 15:00 and 20:45 CET, with a few midweek rounds during the season.

In addition, Amazon also broadcasts the Trophée des Champions match on 31 July 2022 and a weekly highlights show on Sunday evening.

3) How do I sign up for Amazon Prime?

Eligible customers who aren't Prime members can start a free 30-day trial to Amazon Prime, or sign up for a subscription for €5.99 per month or €49 per year. 4) On which devices can I live stream Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches on Prime Video?

Live sport is supported on Amazon Devices with the Prime Video App, Prime Video System Requirements for Computers, and devices connected through the Prime Video app, including Games Consoles with the Prime Video App (PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox One), Set Top Boxes and Media Players with the Prime Video App (Google Chromecast, Orange, Bouygues Telecom, SFR, Free, Apple TV 4K and Apple TV (3rd and 4th generations)), Smart TVs with the Prime Video App, Blu-Ray Players with the Prime Video App, Mobile Devices with the Prime Video App iOS or Android (in the latest Prime Video app). 5) Once I've signed up, how do I watch Ligue 1 on Prime Video?

Open the Prime Video app on your device and you will see the matches available in the Ligue 1 "live and upcoming" row. Alternatively, go to your Prime Video app and search for "Ligue 1".

6) Can I watch Ligue 1 on Prime Video in Belgium or Luxembourg?

The Professional Football League makes the broadcasting rights available separately for each country. Prime Video holds the broadcasting rights only for metropolitan France and French territories. The rest of the world is not included.

7) Can I watch on multiple devices?

Customers can stream up to three different matches at the same time using the same Amazon account and can stream the same match at two devices at a time.

8) Which Ligue 1 Uber Eats / Ligue 2 BKT matches will be available live on Prime Video?

Prime Video will broadcast 8 out of 10 matches per match round exclusive on the Prime Video Ligue 1 channel. On regular weekend rounds, this usually includes matches at: 21.00 Friday, 17.00 Saturday, and 13.00, 15.00 (4x matches) and 20:45 CET on Sunday, with the best match typically scheduled into the Sunday 21.00 slot with a few midweek rounds during the season. All of these matches will be available to Prime members who have subscribed to the Le Pass Ligue 1 channel (Monthly or Yearly pass).

Prime Video will also broadcast the Trophee des Champions on 31 July 2022 via Ligue 1 channel.

From July 30, 2022, Prime Video will also broadcast the Ligue 2 BKT multiplex as well as 8 of the 10 matches of each Ligue 2 BKT day. On regular weekend rounds, this usually includes matches at: 19.00 Saturday. All of these matches will be available to Prime members who have subscribed to the Le Pass Ligue 1 channel. The weekly magazine "Dimanche Soir Football" is available free of charge and requires no subscription.

9) Will there be a multiplex for Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches on Prime Video?

Yes, for the 4 simultaneous matches at 15.00 Sunday, subscribers will be able to choose to watch each match in full or via a multiplex that will cover the action of all the matches.

Multiplexes will also be available for Ligue 1 Uber Eats days taking place in the middle of the week, and all days when matches will take place simultaneously.

10) Besides live matches, what other content can I watch?

Each Ligue 1 Uber Eats match on Prime Video will have at least one 20-minute pre-match and 15-minute post-match show, and one half-time show.

The Sunday evening poster at 8:45 p.m. will benefit from a pre- and post-match of 30 minutes each. In addition, every Sunday at 7 p.m., the program "Dimanche Soir Football" will retrace the best moments of the day of the championship just before the match on Sunday evening at 8:45 p.m.

All the matches broadcast live and from this program will be available for replay approximately 15 minutes after the end of the broadcast for a period of 7 days.

11) Who will present and comment on the matches during the broadcast of Ligue 1 on Prime Video?

The headliner of the Ligue 1 broadcast on Prime Video is Thierry Henry, World Cup and Euro winner and Arsenal's all-time top scorer. Prime Video also offers a panel of consultants made up of former stars and coaches of the championship, including: Mathieu Bodmer, Corine Petit, Benoit Cheyrou, Jérôme Alonzo, Edouard Cissé, Benjamin Nivet or Dominique Arribagé. They will offer their expert opinions and give the keys to analysis of all the matches broadcast on Prime Video throughout the season.

Thibault Le Rol is the presenter of the poster for Sunday evening at 8:45 p.m. and for that of Friday evening at 9 p.m. Karim Bennani presents Multiplex Ligue 1, broadcast every Sunday at 3 p.m. while Félix Rouah presents the Mutliplex de Ligue 2 every Saturday at 7 p.m. Marina Lorenzo is the presenter of "Dimanche Soir Football", the Sunday magazine retracing the best moments of the championship day. The team of presenters is completed by Lesly Boitrelle, Saber Desfarges, Laurie Samama and Benoît Daniel.

Smail Bouabdellah, Julien Brun, Frédéric Verdier, Alban Lepoivre, Christophe Bureau, Luigi Colange, Alexis Grasso and Julien Ielsch are the commentators for the broadcast of the matches on Prime Video. Reporters include David Astorga, Virginie Sainsily, David Aïello and Tiffany Henne.

12) Will all matches have commentary?

Yes, there will be full commentary on every match in French language. An alternative option called Stadium FX is also available within the audio settings of Ligue 1 Uber Eats, allowing you to customize your live streaming experience with the atmosphere of the stadium.

13) How can I access the audio option with stadium atmosphere and no commentary?

Please follow the steps below in order to watch the game with the atmosphere of the stadium. Once the video is playing, select "Stadium FX" from the audio options:

  • On the web, Android smart phones or tablets, Fire tablets, Alexa devices, iPhones or iPads, by clicking on the speech bubble.
  • On Apple TV, by swiping down on your remote to access the menu, then selecting Audio.
  • On some devices, by pressing your remote control to bring up the player settings, and pressing again to access the Audio menu.
  • On other devices, you can choose your audio track on the match page from the Audio tab ("French" for the match with commentary and "Stadium Atmosphere" for the match without commentary with stadium atmosphere.

14) How can I switch subtitles on or off?

Subtitles will be available for all matches scheduled to take place at 21.00 Friday, 17.00 Saturday, and 20.30 Sunday. Subtitles will also be available for the Sunday multiplex at 15.00, and for "Dimanche Soir Football", the Sunday evening magazine at 19.00. The main match from the Ligue 2 BKT Mulitplex will also benefit from subtitles each day. For matches benefitting from subtitles, you can activate or deactivate them by selecting the "CC" symbol in your playback settings. For some devices, the subtitles symbol looks like a speech bubble, or it may be a "subtitles" option in the menu on the video overview page.

For supported matches, you can turn subtitles on or off by selecting the "CC" icon in your playback controls. For some devices, the Subtitles icon looks like a dialogue box, or it may be listed as a menu option under "Subtitles" on the video's detail page.

15) Can I rewind, pause and fast forward on my device?

Rewind, pause and fast forward are available on Android and iOS mobile devices, Web (Chrome, FireFox, Edge), Fire TV, Google Chromecast, Apple TV (3rd generation and above) & select Smart TVs. Use the Watch from start button on the video overview page or within the player to watch the game from kick-off. Please note that these features are not available on all devices.

16) What will be the video resolution of the Ligue 1 broadcast on Prime Video?

Ligue 1 matches will be available in High Definition (HD). Prime Video provides optimal streaming experience depending on the available bandwidth speed.

17) I’m experiencing streaming issues, what can I do?

First, check your device bandwidth speeds. For the best live streaming experience, Prime Video recommends a minimum download speed of 1 Mbps for SD & 5 Mbps for HD. Prime Video will serve the highest quality streaming experience possible based on the bandwidth speed available. If you’re experiencing any issues with video juddering/motion, we recommend turning the Motion setting on your TV to Off. This setting might have a different name depending on your TV manufacturer. Some examples of the Motion setting include Auto Motion Plus, Tru Motion, MotionFlow, Cinemotion, and Motion Picture.

18) How do I install Prime Video on my devices?

The Prime Video app is available on all major set-top boxes, multiple smart TVs, Amazon devices, mobile devices, Blu-Ray players, game consoles, and media streaming devices.

  1. Open your device's app store to download and install the Prime Video app.
  2. Open the Prime Video app.
  3. Register your device by selecting Register on Amazon site. You’ll receive a code to enter on a given website. Some devices will display the Sign in and start watching option with your Amazon account information.

19) My stream is delayed, how do I reduce this?

While all devices have been optimized to give a smooth and clear viewing experience, some devices offer less delay between the live game and your stream. We recommend using a Fire TV, iOS, or Android device for the best viewing experience.

20) I’m receiving a location error when attempting to watch.

Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT matches on Prime Video are only available to customers based in Metropolitan France and French territories. All other international locations won’t have access. Prime Video doesn’t support streaming content through Virtual Private Networks (VPN) or proxy connections. To watch Prime Video, you must disable these services on your device or try switching to another available connection.

21) Why can't I watch live sports on my device?

The following devices aren’t compatible with live streaming on Prime Video, and you won’t be able to watch Ligue 1 on them:

  • Sony Bravia TVs: Select 2015 and older models
  • Sony Bravia Blu-Ray Disc Player
  • Xbox 360 game console
  • LG Hawaii TV televisions: select models from 2015 and older
  • Roku: Roku devices up to 2014 models (except Roku 3, which is compatible)
  • TiVo 4/5 / Mini devices
  • Les Smart TV Panasonic Viera
  • Viera Blu-Ray Disc Player
  • Sigma TV de Loewe
  • 2014 Vizio TV Models
