Maarten Heijmans

Maarten Heijmans is an Emmy Award winning actor from The Netherlands. Born in Amsterdam he was active in children's theatre and choir performances. From 2003 he attended the Amsterdam Theatre School and Arts Academy for four years. Since then he has been in film, television and theatre. In 2015 he won the International Emmy Award for Best Actor for his performance of the title role in the Dutch drama series Ramses (2014).
