Michael Sasaki

Michael is a Japanese-American actor and Award-winning filmmaker from Los Angeles, California. He has recently made an appearance on "Grey's Anatomy" as journalist Ken Bendix. Some other notable credits include, "CSI Vegas", "Shameless", "911 Lonestar", and "S.W.A.T." For two seasons now, Michael has portrayed an aromantic-bisexual character named "Oliver" on the tv show "BIFL: The Series." Michael's short film "Masaru" won Best Short Film at the Malaga Film Festival in Malaga, Spain. He is a professional figure skater known for winning the Junior Olympic Gold Medal at age 14. He worked as the figure skating choreographer in HBO's "Euphoria" for a figure skating sequence in two episodes. Michael studied at Soka University of America in Aliso Viejo, CA where he received his B.A. in Liberal Arts and received his M.S. at Full Sail University in Entertainment Business. He speaks conversational Japanese and Spanish. He is married to French journalist Pierrick Leurent.
