The neighbors have started some construction works on their apartments, but the insurance company refuses to pay for them. Paloma is awake in the hospital and, although she is completely disoriented, she may recover at any moment.

The police investigation into Paloma's hit-and-run is progressing satisfactorily for Juan, but Isabel is increasingly worried. Belén, backed by her mother, is about to get the mortgage.

Desengaño street suffers an unusual traffic jam due to the construction of a parking lot that forces to temporarily divert traffic. The neighbors protest about the noise and Juan Cuesta files a complaint to the City Council.

Due to the drought, the City Council has restricted the water supply to only five hours a day. The neighbors call a meeting and decide to dig a well in the courtyard. Emilio gets a night job as a security agent.

The City Council places a bench right in front of the doorbell. The neighbors protest but Vicenta, Concha and Marisa change their minds when it becomes the meeting place of a strange couple.

The neighbors pay the community fees and harmony reigns in the community. As Christmas is approaching, they call a fraternization dinner for Christmas Eve at Juan Cuesta's house. The dinner is attended by everyone except Mauri.

To avoid repeating the chaos of Christmas Eve, a meeting is held and Juan Cuesta forbids any more parties on New Year's Eve. Pedro invites Belén to dinner and asks her to marry him.

Isabel tries to rebuild and stimulate her sex life with Juan and ends up getting him into a political-neighborhood conflict. On the other hand, Mauri's deadline to present his book is running out, but he is blocked and Mariano offers to help him.

Belén begins her term as president with problems because the old women are pressuring her to kick Andrés Guerra out of the penthouse. Meanwhile, Juan Cuesta tries to spend his free time learning to play the piano.

Belén and Paco prepare their weddings, Belén with Pedro and Paco with Lourdes. But the night before the wedding, Pedro asks Belén to sign a separation of property. On the other hand, Juan Cuesta sells the apartment to Carlos.

Juan installs a wifi internet connection that the neighbors are going to take advantage of. Mauri discovers an apartment for rent in the building across the street and thinks it might be a good place for Fernando to set up his office.

María Jesús has more and more problems with Belén and starts to do voodoo to Lucía so that she sells her apartment. Juan can't take it anymore and wants to move to a townhouse.
