Edith continues to gallivant around the village in search of a new husband.

While Rene believes he is finally getting rid of the British airmen, another agent is dropped by parachute.

Rene and Captain Geering are ambushed by the Resistance, while Monsieur Alfonse plucks up the courage to propose to Edith.

It's pistols at dawn for Monsieur Alfonse and Rene, who are set to duel over the hand of Edith, and Hitler orders the Colonel's arrest.

The Colonel, Captain and Rene are captured and taken to the dungeons of the chateau, where Herr Flick awaits them.

The Resistance decide that their operations will be inhibited by General Von Klinkerhoffen's control of the district.
