1966: DC Endeavour Morse (Shaun Evans, Being Julia) returns to Oxford's Cowley Station from several months of involuntary sick leave, but his brush with death continues to haunt him. Reunited with DI Thursday (Roger Allam, The Thick of It), he investigates intricate crimes from the past and present, ultimately unearthing corruption at the heights of power.
